If you’re looking for equestrian events in Kentucky, you can look no further. The Bluegrass Winter Tournament and Lexington Winter Tournament are held in Frankfort, KY. 10th Annual Kentucky Horse Park Foundation Fall Trail Ride

The 10th Annual Kentucky Horse Park Foundation Fall Trail ride takes place Saturday, September 10 at the Kentucky Horse Park. The event benefits the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation’s Tree Fund Initiative, which helps preserve the beauty of the Park. Entry into the event costs $45 and allows participants access to the trails from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested in participating should register at the registration tent before they start the ride.

This event raises funds for the park and has become a holiday tradition. This year, Southern Lights will be a part of the event. The lights will be on the grounds of the park for the holidays. Last year, over 150,000 people oohed and aahed as they passed the colorful displays.

17th Kentucky Cancer Benefit Fun Show

The 17th Kentucky Cancer Benefit Fun Show is an arts and crafts show and car show that benefits the Brown Cancer Center’s research programs, community outreach, and patient support. The event includes raffles, food trucks, and other attractions. Proceeds from the show help fund research programs at the Brown Cancer Center, including Beverly’s laboratory and the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center. The show also helps fund the Kentucky Cancer Program, which assists patients with the treatment of cancer.

The 17th Kentucky Cancer Benefit Fun Show also honors the survivors of breast cancer. The event is held at several Kentucky racetracks and draws sell-out crowds. The day also includes entertainment, celebrity guests, and a luncheon honoring breast cancer survivors.

UPHA Chapter 9 Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show

Taking place on September 29-October 2, the UPHA Chapter 9 Kentucky Fall Classic Horse show is a three-day show featuring saddle and gaited horses. Classes at the show include pleasure, equitation, roadster and harness classes. The show also benefits the American Saddlebred Museum, which is located in nearby Lexington.

Other events taking place in the area include the MSEDA Dressage at the Park, the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope Tack Sale, and the Equinology Equine Bodyworker Certification Course. Other events are held in Lexington and Hodgenville. While in Lexington, check out the LaRue County Saddle Club’s Western Pleasure Show.

Rhiannon and her horse Rebel were the Grand Champions of the Adult Show Pleasure class at the Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show. Their performance was outstanding, beating world-class competition.
